1:00 - 3:00 Cruisers' Club Roundtable - Medical Emergencies, Tropical Diseases, and First Aid Kit
This session of the Cruisers Club Roundtable series will return to the topic of medical issues. Our own Dr. Jim Nordstrom (s/v Toothpick) is a dentist who practices in the Sacramento area. But he has been sharing his general medical knowledge and experience with VYC members for several years, including his popular hands-on CPR classes. Dra. Alma Vargas,a popular dermatologist practicing for many years in Puerto Vallarta, will discuss how to protect your skin in this intense tropical environment.
Open to all interested cruisers, from coastal to blue water, cross-ocean cruisers, or even boaters who don't venture to faraway shores, these panels are designed to address topics of interest to a broad swath of yachtsmen. And yes, non-boaters are welcome, too!

5:00 - 6:00 Monthly Member Meeting
VYC members in the area are invited to attend this informative, one-hour meeting that takes place monthly during the season. Each meeting will feature a guest speaker who will address a topic of general interest to the membership. In this meeting, Hermilo Esparza, from the Save the Turtle Program of the Bandera Bay, will present, and answer questions about the program. Additionally, members of the leadership team will update us on progress towards our short- and long-term plans, as well as our financial results. There will also be a "town hall" section where members can address questions to the leadership and present their own viewpoints regarding the activities and direction of the Club. The meetings are conveniently scheduled to follow card days and precede cocktail hour.

6:00 - 10:00 Pasta on the Board
Straight from the kitchen, piles of pasta with sauce are placed on a large board the size of the top of the table, and diners rake as much as they want towards themselves and enjoy a tasty dinner. When more pasta is needed, the cooks pile more onto the board. Definitely a different kind of dining experience, this is a fun, as well as delicious way to spend a few hours. Live music by Irving will accompany the dinner.
The price for this experience is $210 pesos per person.
