Lighted Boat Parade
 Enjoy a holiday season celebration with a parade of our Junior Sailors in boats that have been lighted for the season. In Mexican tradition, the club will serve Pozole and Tamales. Join us and enjoy wonderful traditional food and drink! You can view the parade from Paradise Village Marina, Marina Residences or Best viewed on a boat. Join your friends for a colorful and festive kick-off to the Christmas season.

Banderas Bay Blast (BBB)
 3 DAYS OF SAILING FUN ON THE BAY! DECEMBER 11 - 13Â
This is a chance to catch up with old friends, be happy that we’re all back together, and get ready for some amazing sailing on the bay.
- DAY 1 - There will be a Banderas Bay "Meet N’ Greet" at the La Cruz Marina Amphitheater.
- DAY 2 - Weather run to Punta de Mita. Pursuit-start.
- DAY 3 - Morning: Punta de Mita, Pirates for Pupils charity event for school supplies for the local schools. Start times and skippers meeting 11:00 AM at El Coral.
- DAY 3 - Evening:Â Final awards party at VYC. Live music, great food, great fun (plenty of trouble)

24th Annual Great Chili Cook-Off
 Some like it HOT! If that’s you, the 24th Annual Great Chili Cook-off is just what you need to turn up the heat. VYC’s annual Chili Cook-Off has a long history of stirring up fun while fundraising for our community. It's all happening Sunday, December 15th, from 3:00 - 6:00 PM on the VYC Patio.
Think your chili has what it takes? Bring the heat and show off your skills! Not a cook? No problem—come ready to taste, judge, and help crown the best chili in town. And here’s the spicy twist: for the first time, there’s a $500 MXN prize for the best vegetarian chili. Whether you’re cooking, tasting, or just soaking in the fun, this is one flavorful showdown you won’t want to miss!  Plus, don’t forget to save room for the dessert tables—they’re the sweet finale to this flavor-packed showdown.Â

Enjoy a casual little race with your friends! All boats welcome. No inscription, just bring the beer! Meet at the club bar after racing.
Drop in Dinners, second and last Fridays of each month. No reservation required! 
Tuesdays at 5:30 PM is Darts Night. Enjoy happy hour with the gang, and throw some darts! All skill levels are welcome. If you don't have your own darts, we'll provide them for you.
Every Monday and Thursday we have Game Day in the clubhouse from 1-5pm. Come play Baja Rummy, Mexican Train. Dominoes, Bridge or Peso Me. COVID protocols will be enforced. Mondays and Wednesdays from 2 pm to 5 pm you are invited to the club patio for Choose Your Game Day. Many games are available, or you may bring your own equipment. Play Cribbage, Mahjong, Scrabble, Hearts, Mexican Train Dominoes or form a Bridge Group, learn or teach the game. Polish your Baja Rummy.
