umbrella regatta Hot fun in the summertime! Marina La Cruz is having their annual Umbrella Downwind Regatta. Bring anything that floats...paddleboards, dinghys, old doors, whatever and enough umbrellas to power it. Show up at Marina Riviera Nayarit, Saturday, June 22nd, 12:00pm for free registration at the Poolside Deli. They have prizes donated by local businesses in La Cruz and Bucerias

To provide an attractive, comfortable, and active private social environment for residents of and visitors to Banderas Bay who have interest in yachting, other aquatic activities, sport fishing, sport diving, and related social activities.
To promote, sponsor, manage, and provide facilities for amateur and professional regional, national, and international aquatic events such as yacht regattas and rallies, sport fishing tournaments, sport diving events, and marine training and educational programs and seminars.
To sponsor charitable events and activities which benefit the Banderas Bay region and its residents.
